For a long time, the popular messenger developers have diligently maintained a safe ecosystem, however it seems that now new loopholes have appeared in it.

Currently, a huge repository of data and personal information that users constantly exchange is at risk: while exchanging messages; the phone owners risk catching a new virus in the form of spyware, which is distributed via WhatsApp, after which the phone is hacked.
