The Cyprus House Transport Committee held talks to discuss the development of a new road which has already gained full support and planning permission from the government. The road will run from Stroumpi in Polis to Paphos in the Ayia Marinouda district, and will improve the current one by having links to the motorway. The project is expected to start in early 2018 and completion is planned for 2021, with The Ministers of Finance confidently stating that the costs for construction will be found before then. The full expense is predicted to be over €60M including the acquisitions of land along the way.
