Swiss Automatic Exchange Programme to Extended to Include Smaller Jurisdictions

The Swiss authorities have announced some terms to their disclosure laws that are currently being written. Switzerland will only agree to automatically exchange information with countries that meet data security and confidentiality standards as per a federal decree from 2017.

To this end, the Swiss federal government will extend the automatic exchange of financial account information to 15 more countries from 2021. They are as follows:

Albania.
Azerbaijan.
Brunei.
Dominica.
Ghana.
Lebanon.
Macao (China).
the Maldives.
Nigeria.
Pakistan.
Peru.
Samoa.
Trinidad and Tobago.
Turkey.
