The Melbourne Mercer Global Pension Index’s ranking for 2017 has shown impressive results, raking Singapore at the top in Asia and seventh worldwide.

It is important to note that, even though, Singapore received an overall B rating, no other country was rated A. Moreover, Singapore scored an overall of 69.4, only 9.5 points below from Denmark’s 78.9 at the top of the worldwide ranking.

The continuous effort of the Government to provide its residents a high quality of life is showing positive results. Nevertheless, the Government is convinced that the pension system can continue to improve and it will not cease to work tirelessly to achieve the best possible results.
