US bank JPMorgan Chase has released plans to open its next global operations centre in Warsaw, Poland. The venture will employ many thousands people, which will be a huge boost to the economy in the coming years, the Polish Deputy Prime Minister stated.
The main areas of work will be in the banking sector; requiring such professionals for data & risk management, credit risk management and supply chain management. There were several other contenders such as Budapest and Riga, however ultimately the Polish town was favoured.
