Guernsey Fighting Back Against Unlicensed Registered Offices

The Guernsey Financial Services Commission has issued a publication stressing the illegality of offering registered business services and trading without a license. Following a series of cases in which individuals have been providing registered office services which is a legally regulated activity.

The Commission reiterated that registered offices should only be provided by a legitimate company or a partnership that has a full fiduciary license, rather than by an individual (even someone who has a legitimate personal fiduciary licence).
