On February 28th, Facebook announced the expansion of its recruitment services to more than 40 countries. The main purpose of the innovation is to help people find work and help small businesses find suitable candidates.
The decision taken by the company was based on statistics that every fourth US citizen resorted to Facebook in order to find work. This experiment started last year in the countries such as Canada and the US and judging by the feedback proved its effectiveness. In this regard, the company intends to expand its labour exchange for several dozen countries.
The list of countries in which this option will be possible hasn’t been reported yet.
