Dominica’s Citizenship-by-Investment Scheme Will Transform the Countries Economy

Caribbean nation Dominica’s Prime Minister, Mr Roosevelt Skerrit has revealed that the jurisdiction’s citizenship-by-investment (CBI) scheme will accrue over half of its gross recurring revenue, and a quarter of its estimated GDP for the 2019-2020 financial year.

In the Prime Ministers annual budget speech, he noted that the Dominican government has invested a large portion of the profits (just over $400 million eastern Caribbean dollars; the equivalent of USD $155 million). The citizenship-by-investment scheme revenue will fund a development project with thousands of new homes for its population, and even a new hospital and international airport.
