CYPRUS: Job vacancies drop to lowest figure in 2 years

By in

Cyprus based statistical analysis syndicate Cystat have released a statement on their website which show that the number of job vacancies on the island have fallen to just below 2,000 in the last quarter of 2016; the lowest in two years. Compared to the same period in 2015, the number of vacancies fell by 6%, as the tourism and hospitality industry looks to be cutting back hiring less employees, for mainly hotel and restaurant work, the reason for the drop remains unseen at the present moment.
