Singapore: Uber trip up yet again

Several users of Uber in Singapore have reported being accused of taking ‘phantom trips’ which they never made, with many of these trips allegedly taking place in different cities around the world. In reality when they did not occur at all however, for citizen Jenna Lim all these phantom trips have caused a negative balance on her bank account. Having checked it, she understood that there were approximately 30 fraudulent transactions from Uber totaling to more than SGD $1,264. Other victims have also shared stories of fake trips on Facebook.
