The returns on real estate in Cyprus are not great

By in

Cyprus has always been known as a market for not receiving much return on a real estate investment. When a property is rented in Cyprus, typically the income is only a proportion of its prevailing value. The returns have always been low, especially since before the 2008 real estate crisis there was a healthy capital appreciation for most properties amounting to 5 to 7% per year. Nowadays the situation is different and returns have been reduced for apartments (for example) to around 4%, with no probable short-term capital appreciation.
