Switzerland & Brazil Sign DTT & Data Exchange Agreements

Switzerland and Brazil have been busy signing contracts this week in the form of deciding new terms for a Double Taxation Treaty between the two countries; as well as a mutual automatic data exchange to strengthen regulations and make them more efficient.

The tax information exchange has come into force, has applied to request for data for financial years commencing on January 1st 2020 and subsequent tax years. Switzerland is reportedly still waiting to sign the agreement.
