Singapore launches first electric car sharing program

New kid on the block, a Singapore start-up company BlueSG have announced a date for unveiling their first electric car-sharing program in Singapore later this year that will feature over 30 charging points located around the city-state and up to 1000 electric cars that will be introduced progressively throught 2018.

BlueSG will also build the necessary supporting infrastructure, including the implementation of approximately 500 charging stations and 2,000 charging points for Electronic Vehicles. BlueSG belongs to the Bolloré Group which runs the world’s largest Electronic car sharing programs in several major cities including Paris, Bordeaux and Lyon in France, Indianapolis in the US and Torino, Italy.
