Singapore is required to introduce a Beneficiary Register

By in

Apparently, the requirement to put together a Beneficiary Register will be imposed on all jurisdictions that have endorsed the automatic exchange of information. The request was announced during the latest ACRA conference as a part of the new regulations for service-providers in the sphere of offshore and onshore Singapore company registration. The Register is not intended to be a public one. For your information, the UK introduced a similar Beneficiary Registry that discloses all Beneficial Owners of companies and partnerships as of 27.11.2016.
