Singapore Employers Prefer Employees With Hard Skill-Sets

An earlier survey among more than 3,000 employers (in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore) showed that more than 65% of Singapore employers prefer employees with hard skills.

According to the survey results, the most demanded hard skills are project management (56%), statistical and data analysis (47%) and computer skills (37%). The most sought-after social skills are problem solving (25%) and time management (45%) as well as mobility and flexibility (47%).

As industries develop and expand the skills in demand is changing and companies, in their turn, are reviewing the technical competencies necessary for growth and prosperity.
