Probable solution on property lost by Cypriots after 1974 Turkish invasion

Local Turkish media outlets have published a report on how a long standing issue regarding the property lost by Greek and Turkish Cypriots in 1974 would be resolved.

The document states that a special commission has been suggested to decide on compensation of the lost property. Several possible variants are already being considered. Among them, is a solution for a possible peer exchange and return of confiscated property. To much astonishment, it was also suggested to keep land and real estate titles, which have been illegally granted to Turkish Greeks by force.
