OECD Release Global Review of Harmful Tax Practices from 2018

The OECD has published its latest review of harmful tax practices and claim that the majority of financial centres around the world have kept their pledges to eliminate preferential tax regimes throughout 2018. According to the report, only 7 regimes were still recognised as ‘potentially harmful’ or ‘harmful’ by encouraging or enabling profit-shifting at the end of 2018. The global standard is headed in the right direction going shortly into Q2 of 2019, the non-profit group stated.
