The Greek Prime Minister’s Chief Economic Advisor Alex D. Patelis recently announced new measures to improve liquidation in Greece, an unwelcomed legislation amendment for Greek taxpayers. Going forward, any Greek resident spending less than 30% of their income by electronic means will have to pay a fine of 23% on the difference.

The Greek government hope to raise approximately EUR €500 million extra from the scheme.
