New Policy on Unlicensed BVI Subsidiaries

Going forward, Subsidiaries of BVI licensed Company Managers and trust companies will no longer be permitted to undertake registered agent and registered office business in or from the BVI. The new approach has been adopted on grounds that universal budgetary analysts continue asking the BVI Financial Services Commission (FSC) why there are more enlisted specialists than licensees, and whether the FSC truly has full administrative oversight of these entities.

Licensees have until June 2019 to remove all subsidiaries presently recorded on their parent company's licence.
