Moldovan Prime Ministers Son Has UK Bank Accounts Frozen

The 22-year-old son of Vladimir Filat, Moldova's condemned ex-Prime Minister has had a run in with the UK National Crime Agency last week after the organisation froze almost half a million pounds (£500,000) from his bank account.

Mr Filats son lives in London and held 3 bank accounts with HSBC whose records showed his living expenses were subsidised by big credits from offshore accounts, and could not show that his money came from a source of legitimate means.
