EU Local Regulators not Ready for GDPR Requirements

A significant number of the EU regulators are not ready for the new requirements of the General Regulation on Data Protection (GDPR), which entered into force at the end of last month and affects companies such as Facebook and Google.

According to Reuters, which carried out the survey, this is due to the lack of necessary authority and funding. The emergence of the new requirements is associated with the recent leaks in the field of personal data, namely: the use of 87 million Facebook users data by Cambridge Analytica.
