Estonia plans to tackle blacklisted tax jurisdictions within the EU

Going forward, the presidency of the EU Council will be taken over by Estonia. The first order of business for the Baltic State will be to agree a common list of non-cooperative tax jurisdictions within in the EU. Other goals, disclosed by the Estonian President include leading discussions on the EC’s recent proposals requiring financial intermediaries and advisors to disclose their tax avoidance schemes.
