Grace Period for Expat Tax Concession in the Netherlands

By in

The government in Netherlands has backtracked on plans to offer qualifying employees to receive 30% of their income tax-free. The original plan has been reduced from eight to five years; and have limited the terms of the expatriate tax facility.

Interim regulations will be used so that the facility will not expire for anyone who would have lost it early in the next 2 financial years (until 2020).
