Gibraltar, the Channel Islands & Madeira face questioning by European Parliament over tax practices

Next week the European Parliament’s committee of enquiry will interview representatives of the following smaller jurisdictions that have recently come under scrutiny about their tax practices, namely: Gibraltar, the Channel Islands, and Madeira. They will be questioned about their current tax regimes and relationship with the EU to help combat money laundering, terrorist financing, tax avoidance and tax evasion collectively as a unit.
