German lawmakers in favour of third Greek bailout

On Wednesday, after a time consuming debate in the Bundestag Lower House of parliament, the German lawmakers vigorously pushed for a vote in favour of the third Greek bailout.
German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble suggested that the lawmakers give Greece another chance. Even though his experience from the last few years has given him reason to doubt they will be able to adhere to the regulations, and while he is not able to guarantee that everything will work out according to their new schedule, Mr Schaeuble is willing to help Greece make a new start, trusting they will not default on their repayments, allowing them to stay in the euro.

The new start-up package is worth €86 billion, and the Eurozone hopes that Greece will use this to their advantage, improving the Athens-based economy and consequently the economy in Europe as a whole.
