Further developments with EU-Singapore treaty as Polish deal becomes ratified

Singapore and Poland are closing deals for the early ratification of the EU-Singapore Free Trade Agreement to augment economic links between the two countries, Singapore President Tan stated this week during his state visit to Warsaw. Mr Tan also cited the benefits that the agreement will bring to companies in both jurisdictions; such as improved market access for Polish companies to Singapore and other ASEAN countries. The agreement will also reduce the necessity for double technical and safety standard tests and approvals, something that will be a huge cost reducing measure for both sides.
