Facebook Intends to Build its First Data Centre in Asia

On Wednesday, the representatives of Facebook announced their intention to invest about 1.5 billion US dollars into the construction of the first data centre in Asia.

The new branch will be located in Tanjong Kling (formerly known as Data Centre Park) in the west of Singapore and will occupy 170,000 square metres. It is reported that the company intends to make this centre ‘super efficient’ in terms of energy efficiency.
