Cyprus makes top twenty list of healthiest countries in the world

The Bloomberg Global Health Index has ranked Cyprus in18th place out of a list of 163 countries, with Singapore being the only two non-OECD countries to make the top 20 of the list.

Italy was ranked in first place on the list, as the healthiest country in the world. According to research, the average baby born on Italian soil will most probably live to their 80s, while merely 2,800 miles south in Sierra Leone, a newborns life expectancy is less than 52. Each country in the index was graded based on variables such as life expectancy, causes of death and the availability of clean water.
