Cyprus Asking for OECD Blacklist Reversal for Golden Visa Scheme

Cyprus’ finance ministry is setting up a report asking for the OECD to remove the islands citizenship by investment scheme from the blacklist of similar programmes plans considered to present a high risk to the global trade of financial information.

In October, the OECD named Cyprus as one of 21 jurisdictions that give rich people (or HNWIs) access to low income tax on their worldwide income and assets, without having to spend much time in the country.
