According to BVI Finance, the government of the British Virgin Islands will issue guidance on economic substance for companies and limited partnerships at the end of April 2019.

The so-called economic substance code will help British Virgin Islands companies determine whether their business is considered legitimate and if they comply with the applicable requirements.
