Apple Reaches Tax Settlement With France

Last month, Apple made a statement about reaching an agreement with the French authorities to settle a 10-year tax debt, becoming the latest American company to make a deal with France, which caused the European push to raise taxes on technology giants.

According to sources, to settle the issue through an agreement, Apple paid about EUR €500 million (USD $570 million).

Representatives of the company stated that they are fully aware of the importance of paying taxes in full compliance with the laws and practices that are in force in the countries where they operate.
