Cyprus Business Unit & HR Senior Officer [ECS:9883]

Due to expansion of our services, we are currently seeking to recruit an Experienced Senior HR & Administration Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • HR deliverables of our international company.
  • Cyprus Business Unit Payroll and related pay roll matters.
  • Cyprus Recruitment Function.
  • Cyprus Office Operations

 

Operations:

Responsible for:

Assist the Cyprus Business Unit Manager, with the Cyprus office operations and administrative tasks.

 

Cyprus Office Operations & Administrative Tasks

  • Office function facilities, including not limited to technology, domestic requirements, incoming mail review.
  • Implement and operate an efficient system to ensure Cyprus office suppliers and company expenses payments is executed in an accurate and timely process.
  • Supervise the Administration Function, including team members.
  • Source office supplies and office repairs – ensure the smooth office running environment at all times.
  • Handle requests and enquiries appropriately.
  • Weekly progress reports delivered.
  • Participating in various projects and ad hoc assignments where required.
  • Enhance existing Cyprus office filing system including management of scanning and document control.
  • Deputise for the Manager and delegate tasks to others in the manager's absence.

 

HR Function

  • Responsible for Cyprus office internal HR matters.
  • Cyprus Business Unit Payroll Function for the full team, monthly and annual requirements being delivered within set timeframes, including Social Insurance and PAYE requirements.
  • Cyprus Absentee Management.
  • HR Department Personnel Documentation logistics.
  • Professional Education Sponsorship program.
  • Deliver new employees induction program.
  • Deliver bespoke HR Outsource Services to clients.
  • Responsible for the enhancement of the internal Performance Management process.
  • Support International HR Officers with internal travelling needs of staff including visa applications.
  • Daily HR live chat completion.
  • Responsible for the development of internal HR Handbook, standard procedures & supporting documentation.
  • Handle requests and enquiries appropriately.
  • Weekly progress reports deliverable.
  • Participating in various projects and ad hoc assignments where required.
  • Handle confidential matters, as they arise.
  • Preparation of technical articles related to agreed areas supporting the company’s products, services and brand.
  • Active participation in SMM projects of Eltoma Corporate Services.
  • Prepare and conduct internal and external webinars relating to HR area.
  • Promote company values across all offices.
  • Adhere to internal and external deadlines.
  • Assist the trainer with training event co-ordination.
  • Maintain the Cyprus company corporate apartment.
  • Completion of allocated project related tasks within set timescales, via the Project Manager instructions.
  • Maintain timesheet records in Sage Practice Solution.
  • Provide full support to the HR Manager on designated tasks.
  • Fully responsible for the Cyprus Business Unit health and safety, all aspects.

 

Recruitment Function:

  • Cyprus Recruitment - responsible for the development and achievement of set agreed targets.
  • Responsible for all external HR recruitment tasks for external clients, by providing support including logistics/administration during the selection process.
  • Assisting both candidates and employers with their recruitment accounts.
  • Posting of all designated vacancies on job boards and social media.
  • Researching candidates for current vacancies, both external and internal vacancies.
  • Full management of the English recruitment website.
  • Full candidate co-ordination, review CVs, match to vacancies, schedule interviews, gather all necessary documentation, assignment tracking, decline candidates, assist with candidate tracking.
  • Assist with the development of the post recruitment HR Services, including the Eltoma Training Academy.

 

Any other tasks assigned by the HR Manager.

 

Requirements and Person Specification:

  • 3-5 years proven work experience, including pay roll experience, in a similar position.
  • University Degree in Human Resources. A Master’s Degree will be considered an advantage.
  • Member of HR Association, e.g. CIPD will be considered an advantage.
  • Outstanding organisational, time management and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise daily workload.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English and Greek - essential, additional languages would be considered an advantage.
  • Discretion, trustworthy and confidentiality, key attributes.
  • Dynamic and energetic personality.
  • Self starter, comfortable with taking initiative, can work independently from direct manager.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Strong personal qualities, such as ambitious, determined to develop professional career and willingness to go an extra mile to achieve it, open minded, have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, managerial skills, be a quick learner, and team player.
